Mission: The Special Needs Performing Arts Alliance is a non-profit 501 C 3 Charity that promotes awareness and education to children and teens with disabilities. Our organization uses the arts as a way to heal, motivate, and inspire youths to be achievers and to rise above difficulties. We develop programs that help individuals reach their full potential while challenging them to become leaders in their families, schools, and community. 

Values: Our organization aims to teach children and teens to use their disability as a way to find their strengths, gifts, talents, and natural abilities. We install in young people ways to cope with problems and teach them how to handle adversity in a positive, constructive manner. The Special Needs Performing Arts Alliance nurtures and accepts all individuals, but maintains three main teaching components throughout the training. The first component is independent initiative. We encourage young people to not have fear in being and expressing their unique selves through the arts and to resist peer pressure. Our second teaching is to have respect and diligence in becoming the best student they can be. We do this by helping them develop study habits and supports that foster accountability and positive reinforcement in their life. Our third teaching is to help students realize that they need to strive to make a difference in the lives around them. We believe that children and teens need to learn how to be kind, considerate, and caring to others. Our education is based on compassion and understanding of all people regardless of race, religion, or disability. The programming aims to teach tolerance and acceptance through the arts, while focusing still on individual uniqueness. 

Purpose: The Special Needs Performing Arts Alliance was formed out of a need to express arts awareness and teaching in a positive, giving, healing, and compassionate method that includes all people who wish to join classes, events, and functions of the organization. 

Methods of Outreach: The organization works with industries in health care, hospitals, government, schools, non-profits, and the media in order to bring exposure to the Special Needs Performing Arts Alliance. We raise funds in order to provide life changing ways to reach today’s youths.
